Yet another possibility would be to add natural stone or faux natural stone at the base of your deck. If your deck just goes right out into the yard, adding a platform of stone would make the yard more visually appealing but also expand your entertaining area. With this completed, you could place the barbecue grill on the new platform, along with chairs for extra seating. The most important thing about this particular project is applying the appropriate sealer. This would prevent weeds from surfacing through the cracks but also create a non-slip surface for safety.
